If you’re a U.S. resident or resident alien who is registered at an American college or university, then keep reading for more details on how you can submit your own essay and be considered for this $1,000 prize.
The essay
For entry into the scholarship contest, students must compose an essay between 300 and 500 words answering the following question:
With all of the dangerous jobs performed by individuals in society today – jobs such as loggers, linemen and construction – who do you think should be responsible for these workers’ safety? To whom does the responsibility fall for that worker’s life?
The details
In order to apply, students must be a U.S. resident registered at a U.S. college or university. Students must compose a unique essay written for the sole purpose of the scholarship contest, and only one submission per student will be accepted.
To apply, students must submit their essays by email along with a signed copy of the official contest rules.
After the submission deadline, a winner will be selected. The winning essay, along with honorable mentions, will be published on our website.
