Meet Tara Schlairet, an advocate for those injured at work in Georgia
Tara dedicates her practice of law to the representation of injured workers in Georgia. She has extensive insight into insurance companies’ tactics and intentions through her prior experience representing employers/insurers in workers’ compensation claims in both Georgia and Florida. As a result, she is able to effectively and zealously advocate for her clients.
Education
Tara received her law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, graduating in the top 15 percent of her class in 2 and a half years. She received her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.
Career
Following graduation from law school, Tara relocated to Florida, where she practiced law for 5 years before moving back to Georgia. Tara has worked in the workers’ compensation area of law for the majority of her legal career, mainly at insurance defense firms. However, Tara has decided to refocus her efforts on helping those affected by work-related injuries navigate the Georgia workers’ compensation system.

Tara is a member of the Workers’ Compensation section of the Georgia State Bar. She is currently an inactive member of the Florida Bar Association.
Personal
Tara was born in Landstuhl, Germany, to parents who were serving in the air force, but her family eventually settled in Kent, Ohio. Tara currently lives in Roswell with her husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running and cooking.
